I'm taking a break from the senior blog posts to share one of the coolest moments I've been able to take pictures of. Mitch and Montana were visiting Arizona from Canada, so Montana reached out to me to see if I was available to take some pictures of them while they were in town. She and I set up the details of the shoot a few weeks in advance. A few days before the shoot, Mitch reached out to me to see if I could help him figure out a way to PROPOSE at the photoshoot. Not going to lie, my eyes were tearing up when he was proposing to her. It was such a special moment, and I'm so glad that I was able to capture it. Congrats, Mitch and Montana!
Okay, here is the beer bong picture I promised you, along with some pictures of Emily! Talk about hair goals, am I right?! Congrats, Johni and Emily! Thank you for such a fun shoot!
Johni and her friend, Emily, decided to do both of their senior pictures at the same time. I LOVE when people do this... it seriously makes photoshoots so much fun when you're with a friend! I don't think I have laughed more on a photoshoot, particularly when Johni and Emily told me that they brought beer cans to shotgun instead of a bottle of champagne to pop (they also brought a beer bong, which you'll be seeing on my next blog post). They were PROS haha! Not only were these girls tons of fun, but they were also as kind as can be. Johni wrote one of the sweetest compliments about my photography as a caption on one of her Instagram posts, and I'm not going to lie, I teared up a bit. Photoshoots like these remind me how blessed I am to have the opportunity to meet so many incredible people while doing something that I absolutely love. :)
Senior season is officially over, and I'm so behind on blog posts hahaha. I'm hoping I can catch up by the end of the week, but we'll see!
Erika was one of the most fun seniors I have had. She has such a bright future ahead of her! Congrats, girl!
I was so excited when Khara reached out to me to take her senior pictures. Not only is she absolutely gorgeous (and literally a real life Moana), but she was so sweet, as well. Khara and her friend, Erika (who's pictures are coming up next on the blog), did their senior pictures together, and their shoot was so much fun! Congrats, Khara!
It's currently 12:40am and I'm starting to write this blog post (yikes). That's the beauty of summer break!!!
Sam was seriously as sweet as can be! She just graduated from GCU with a degree in education, and she will be the cutest teacher. If I was in elementary school, I would want her to be my teacher haha! Congrats, Sam! Oops, I mean Miss Stram!!!
Girls always outnumber the guys for senior photoshoots. This year, I only had one guy! Andrew was an awesome model and his shoot was so much fun. Congrats, Andrew!
Remember that awesome giveaway I was a part of a while back? Edith was the winner! Coincidentally, she is a senior, so it worked out perfectly for me to take her senior pictures. Congrats, Edith!
This session with Arianna was so much fun. She is a wedding photographer (@windandskyphoto on Insta) and is amazing! We took some new photos for her website in a gorgeous location at sunrise.
I don't know what it is about hats, but I love when people wear them on photoshoots! Abriana is so sweet and I'm so glad she reached out to me to take her senior pictures. She's going to Iowa State to play volleyball--how cool is that?! Congrats, Abriana!
